SOUTH CHINA SEA (Aug. 31, 2018) The guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) is underway alongside the Navy's forward aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a photo exercise with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is forward-deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
