Titan arum lily (Amorphophallus titanum). A section of the spathe has been cut away to show the fruit (red) inside. This is one of the world's largest flowers, reaching up to 3 metres in height. It smells of rotting meat to attract pollinating flies. Photographed on 2 July 2003 at the Conservatoire Botanique National de Brest, France.
