For a simple outline asgiven in A-l, first cut out the pattern from cardboard orcommon straw board. Place this upon the show cardand hold the same firmly with the left hand, then withthe right hand dip the wad of cotton batting or plush indry color (any desired shade) then rub around the edgeof pattern and extend outward in a circular motion.
