COVID-19: Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. 13 August 2021. KEEP HARVARD HEALTHY sign at the Johnston gate. Harvard plans to admit 1,962 first year students, Class of 2025, and begin in person learning on 1 September 2021. The University will require all students, faculty and staff who will be on campus to have Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 vaccinations. All students will also be required to be tested on arrival for COVID-19. Harvard University is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and has over 21,000 students.
