Hoodoos and colorful cliffs at Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah.
Hoodoos and colorful cliffs at Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah. The Indians called Cedar Breaks the "Circle of Painted Cliffs." At an elevation of 10,000 feet, Cedar Breaks is shaped like a giant coliseum dropping 2,000 feet to its floor. Carved by millions of years of erosion, Cedar Breaks displays a huge amphitheater with stone spires, columns, arches, pinnacles, and colorful canyons.
