Lightship 'Relandersgrund', Helsinki, Finland, 2011. Artist: Sheldon Marshall

Lightship 'Relandersgrund', Helsinki, Finland, 2011. Built in 1888, this lightship was decommissioned in 1937, after which it was renamed the 'Vuolle' and served as an expedition vessel. In 1978 it was sold for scrap but has been given back its original name and preserved as a floating restaurant open in the summer months. The Russian Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral can be seen in the background. It was built in the 1860s when Finland was a Grand Duchy of the Russian Empire.
