September 4th, 2015, New York, NY, USA : Two men on 125th St in Harlem smoke the drug known as K 2 also known as " Spice. " K 2 has become an epidemic in this part of New York City. The NYPD admits use of the drug is in crises. K 2 is synthetic marijuana that is cheaper that both crack and heroin. Many users of K 2 enter a catatonic state, and some turn violent. K 2 is not a new drug but is being described by many as the new heroin.
