Kallow Point, Port St Mary, Isle of Man. 29 May, 2012. A memorial is dedicated to Isle of Man Steam Packet workers who lost their lives at Dunkirk. The anchor of the Steampacket vessel Mona's Queen III, which took part in the rescue, was raised from the seabed off Dunkirk to form the memorial.

The Isle of Man Steampacket vessel Mona's Queen III took part in the historic rescue of troops from Dunkirk. Her anchor was raised from the seabed off Dunkirk and brought back to the Island to form a memorial to the 24 (17 were Manx) members of crew who lost their lives when it sank in 1939. Steampacket ships alone rescued 24,699 British and French troops. The ceremony was attended by Adam Wood, the Govenor of the Isle of Man and representatives of the French Navy and the Isle of Man Steampacket Company. The new memorial is at Kallow Point, Port St Mary and faces out to the sea towards Dunkirk.
