Penguin Beach opened on May 26th 2011 and houses over 90 Humboldt penguins. Until March 2017, a single male rockhopper penguin named Ricky also lived here, before being moved to ZSL Whipsnade pool itself is currently the largest penguin pool in an English zoo.
