Plastic waste washed up on a pebble beach on the northern coast of the island of Menorca Spain


The seas around the world are becoming so polluted with plastic it has become a major issue. The plastics that are thrown into the seas either sink to the bottom and break up into tiny micro plastics which are then ingested by fish and other creatures thus enter the food chain or they float around the oceans forming huge islands of plastic eventually a lot are taken by the currents and are washed up on beaches
