MANAMA, Bahrain (May 22, 2017) Lt. Joseph Brisco, a native of Vicksburg, Ms. and commanding officer the Cyclone-class coastal patrol ship (PC) USS Whirlwind (PC 11), stands inside his ship’s bridge. Whirlwind is one of 10 PCs forward deployed to Manama, Bahrain, whose mission is coastal patrol and interdiction surveillance.
