This question has been brought to the at-tention of the State Public Service Commission, whichis expected to make a decision in the matter some timeduring the year. The following ordinance regarding fares and trans-fers has been considered and approved by the publicutilities committee: Sec. 1. The rate of fare on the municipal street rail-way lines within the city of Seattle shall be as set forthin this ordinance. Sec. 2. The rate of fare when paid in cash shall be5 cents. Sec. 3. Commutation tickets, not entitling holder toa transfer, shall be sold by the conductors on the carsat the rate of six for 25 cents, twelve for 50 cents, ortwenty-five for $1.
