A bowl of freshly prepared cuttlefish, Sepia officinalis, from a cuttlefish that was caught in the English Channel. It has been stewed in its own ink with olive oil, chopped tomatoes, black pepper, bay leaves, white wine, onions, lemon zest and juice, fish stock, wild fennel fronds, and wild garlic, Allium ursinum. It is seen here served in bowl and garnished with wild garlic flowers on an acacia wood chopping board. Cuttlefish are marine molluscs of the class Cephalopoda. Dorset England UK GB.
