Fallen branches lay on the A43 motorway in Herne, Ruhr area, Western Germany, so that it had to be closed for more than a day. The severe storm front Ela in the evening of June, 9th, 2014, had caused considerable damage, mostly in North Rhine-Westphalia. Six people were killed, more than 50 injured.
