I am quite convinced, therefore, that the advent ofMaydls operation has in no way arrested the further devel-opment of plastic surgery in this field, but I believe thatvery probably ureteral transplantation will again be aban-doned and recourse be had to direct suture of the edges ofthe deformity under discussion as the only means by whichthe normal relations can be restored.
