It is good to remember that these Mills andSteamer Chaplains are provided by the Companiesthat own the mills—a kindly considerateness for theiremployees that is much appreciated by the men andby the Churches with which they co-operate. Very noticeable too on the banks are the numerousbeautiful villas owned and occupied by Indian gentle-men.
