Looking across all three roads towards the managers office inside the repair workshop shed at Cow Lane Train Maintenance Depot workshop late in the afternoon before all the work starts. Also seen below the office window is a crate with an old replaced engine sat in the frame waiting to go back to the manufacturers for reconditioning or repair and to the right of that is a mobile engine lifting frame which is placed under the train and the engine is then lowered onto this device so it can be removed from underneath the carriage.
