Skelbo Castle on the shore of Loch Fleet in South East Sutherland is a 14th Century Motte and Baily with later additions. When the site was surveyed in 1907 some of the older residents of the area could recall the building on the far right still standing and being occupied and also, they believed, being used as a whether this was legal or not is not mentioned!
