An English percussion shotgun, G. J. Reynolds, circa 1850 Two-stage, browned Damascus barrel in 17 mm calibre, octagonal then round and smooth after a girdle, with patent breechblock and barrel rib on the underside. Florally engraved (partially somewhat corroded) percussion lock with defective mechanism. Beautiful walnut half stock with chequered hand rests, horn nose and engraved (rubbed) iron furniture.
