Marine Corps Cpl. Trenton Kercher, an ordnance technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 29, carries a GAU-21 .50-caliber machine gun at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, Aug. 11, 2022. This was the first time the Marine Corps deployed the CH-53K King Stallion in an exercise. MALS-29 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
