The Chihuahua fire started on Thursday, Aug. 9, in Warner Springs, Calif. as a result of lightning strikes. California National Guard crews responded in support of CAL FIRE on Friday, Aug. 10 dropping 3,000 gallons the first day and transporting hand crews the following day.
