Members of the 145th Airlift Wing and Piedmont Patriot Guard (PPG) Riders meet outside the North Carolina Air National Guard base, July 15, 2017, prior to a commemorative ride honoring the fallen and surviving Airmen from the 2012 Modular Airborne FireFighting Systems 7 incident. The event organized by Air Force Master Sgt. Andy Jenkins, 145th Airlift Wing command post, and Allen Hudson, PPG chairman in charge, mapped a course from the city of Charlotte to Todd County, , where the group stopped at each of the four gravesites to say a few kind words and leave tokens of remembrance.
