Cinema projector. 19th-century artwork of an early type of cinema projector called a cinematographe. This longitudinal section shows the interior workings of the machine. This one was built by French inventor Henri Joly (1866-1945). Artwork from the first volume (1897) of 'La Revue Scientifique et Industrielle' by French chemist and inventor Jules-Louis Breton (1872-1940).
