Some hundreds of thousands of people, visit every year, the magnificent region of Meteora. Unfortunately, very few of them visit an impressive byzantine monument, the church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary, of the 11th century, in the nearby town of Kalambaka. Here you can see a part of the interior, and the majestic marble pulpit, in the center of the church (very unusual position).
