An adult and a young juvenile Stenopterygius ichthyosaur hunting for food.

An adult and a young juvenile Stenopterygius ichthyosaur hunting for food during the Jurassic period. Ichthyosaurs started in the early Triassic and went extinct by the early Cretaceous. They are noted by their streamlined body. Long snouts have always been a sign and dorsal fins and vertical tail fins have changed and evolved over time.
