As shown in Fig. IV the worst results were of course in theworst crowded rooms. It will be noted that taking 8 parts of carbondioxide as a reasonable limit only one excessive value was recordedin a room with over 200 square feet of floor space per capita. Fig. V shows the relation between carbon dioxide and air move-ment at the register openings and it will be noted that only one highvalue was obtained where the air exhaust was over 30 cubic feetper capita.
