Jastleia, Oarnea.—Perhaps no plants have attracted so much at- tention in the last two years as the Justicia, or Brazilian Plume-plant. The plant is a strong, rapid grower, and throws up long stems, on which are producediine, plume- like,pink flowers, the ends of each petal drooping in a most charming manner. When the plants are a few months old they are literally covered with their beautiful blossoms. It does equally well cither for house or out-door culture. Price, 15 cents each. lustleia. Sanguines.—Same as the above, except that it has red stems and flaming rose-colored blooms. Price, 16 cts. The oldest, vet most valuable and beautiful Fuchsia in exis- tence. The calyx tube measures four to six inches in length, and is of a pale pink color, while tin- corolla is a deep red. It I forms a tuberous root, and is quite an oddity. Price, 26e each. CALADIUM ESCULENTUM. One of the most beautiful and striking ornamcntal-foliaeed plants in cultivation, either for culture in large pots or tubs, or for planting out on the lawn. Will grow in any garden soil,and is of the easiest culture. When ot full size it stands about five feet high, with immense leaves, often ineaMirine four feet in length by two and one-hall in breadth. Smooth, of bright green color, heautifully veined and varietr ted with dark green.
