London Street Arabs at play indoors

From London Street Arabs by Dorothy Tennant (1855-1926) published in 1890 the same year as she married the explorer Henry Morton Stanley so it was published under the name Mrs H M Stanley. The illustration is untitled & my first thought was it may have been some sort of Sunday school, but in the book she talks of taking the children into her home & teaching them to play the piano so this might well be Dorothy with the ragamuffin families in her own home.
