In 1886, Taylor received a Royal Warrant, and became self-proclaimed "Photographers to the Queen". This statement is on the front of this cabinet card enabling it to be dated after 1886 and woman's dress indicates circa 1888, this cabinet card, is dated circa. 1880 as the father has flat hair, little facial, 4 in hand tie, lady's dress sleeves, boys in 'Little Lord Fauntleroy' suits that date from 1880's. Note: Little Lord Fauntleroy is a character in a children's book (published 1886) Little Lord Fauntleroy by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
