Mosaic on the Chancel Arch, St Mary's Church, Morte Hoe.
Given to the Church by Dr. Longstaff who was church warden from1878 to 1916, in memory of his wife. Designed by Mr Selwyn Image who was once Slade Professor at Oxford. The work was carried out by Messrs. Powell & Sons of Whitefriars, London. The craftsmen employed had worked in St Pauls Cathedral. The mosaic was unveiled in 1905 on Easter Sunday.
