Rodolfo Coria. Argentine palaeontolgist Rodolfo Coria with a fossil bone from the spine of Argentinosaurus huinculensis, the biggest dinosaur discovered to date. A diagram behind him shows which parts of the giant's 100-million-year-old skeleton have been found so far. Coria, who works at the Carmen Funes Museum at Plaza Huincul, Argentina, is co-discoverer of two record-breaking dinosaurs: Argentinosaurus and Giganotosaurus carolinii, a meat-eater that may out-weigh the largest known Tyrannosaurus rex. Both were found in the dusty province of Neuquen, Argentina, and have forced palaeontologists to re-think the evolutionary history of the dinosaurs. Photographed in 1995.
