Members of the English Defence League, Exeter Branch at a Ban the Birka protest in Exeter City centre. About 15 members of the EDL turned out and were outnumbered by police and photographers. The English Defence League (EDL) claim to be a human rights organisation that was founded in the wake of a small group of Muslim anti-war protesters who, at a homecoming parade for 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment in Luton, accused the the soldiers of being the "butchers of Basra" and "terrorists".
