Military spouses and their children participate in the Healthy Cooking Class held aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Nov. 30. Shelley Lamey, director of Semper Fit Gym, provided several recipes, ingredients and instruction to help the attendees explore quick, healthy, nutritious meals they can easily repeat at home. The classes also offer military families an opportunity to build relationships with other military families on base.
