Turtle treatment. Marine biologists treating the injuries of a small loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta). The turtle is examined and any injuries are treated before it is released back into the wild. A transmitter allows its movements to be followed. This data is used to help protect these turtles from extinction due to human activities. Photographed at the Anton Dohrn zoological station, Naples, Italy.
