Warschauer Strasse U Bahn station elevated railway with the viaduct, the two railway tracks, the signal box, the platform hall and the stair tower to Rudolfstrasse was part of the trunk line, which was built at the instigation of the electrical company Siemens & Halske as the first electric elevated and underground train in Germany, The terminus was built in 1900-02 to a Siemens & Halske design, adapted by Paul Wittig
