A tuk tuk is waiting at the border for passengers on a street that links the towns of Tachilek, Burma (Myanmar) and Mae Sai, (Sae) Thailand. The city is converged upon by throngs of Thai visitors and foreign tourists that visit the city each year. As it shares its border with Burma (Myanmar) to the north, its known throughout Southeast Asia as one the busiest border areas in the region.
