King was born September 3, 1908. Holly Ridge, N. C. was to behome for many years. It was in 1940 while he was working in a saw mill that heie his profession to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. In 1948 he wasained. For the next twenty years he was to serve the Lord as pastor of Bethany»tist Church, Richlands. He served as pastor to a mission and continued to gaini!re knowledge of the Bible and how he could better serve the Lord. He becametor of Peletier Baptist Church in 1968 and served there until his death in April1976. Brother King served long and faithful. His family and friends will alwaysngrateful for the many things Brother King did for his church, his Lord and hisimunity. It is doubtful that the loss of any one individual will be felt so keenlymany years to come.
