DAHLIA NOVELTIES AND VARIETIES OF SPECIAL MERIT This collection consists of new American and European in- troductions and also includes a few older sorts which are still -—^ scarce and which rank in quality with some of the best of recent introduction. The varieties listed under this heading can only be supplied in green or growing plants of superior quality which will be ready for delivery at the proper planting time about May 15th. Ambassador (Hybrid Cactus). The sensational Dahlia since its introduction in 1921 when it won the first prize at the San Fran;isco show for the best and most artistic variety exhib- ited. Its color is a soft yellow at the centre with salmon, amber and pink shadings, gradually deepening towards the tips and outer floral rays. The blending of these colors captivates all.
