The pink colored Empire Style architecture Presidio County Courthouse in Marfa, Texas has been added the National Registry of Historic Places.


Vertical: The Presidio County Courthouse was designed in 1886 by Alfred Giles. He chose an Empire-style design with a prominent dome. The pink-colored stucco building can be seen from almost any vantage point in Marfa, Texas. It is made of brick and stone that is quarried near Marfa.
