Monument to Czechoslovak Legions designed by Czech sculptor Josef Mařatka (1932) in Nové Město (New Town) in Prague, Czech Republic. The Emmaus Monastery (Emauzský klášter) is seen in the background. The monastery church was badly damaged by the US bombing raid on 14 February 1945. The new modernist facade designed by Czech architect František Maria Černý was built between 1964 and 1968.
