This is the spire of the Trinity Church in Abingdon, located just opposite the lovely Albert Park. It is multi denominational, welcoming Anglican, Catholic and Methodist members. Relatively modern in architecture, dating from 1875, the spire shows its relatively, recent heritage with a surprisingly clean and uncluttered style, looking for all the world like a rocket about to take off into the clear blue
