A mother with her kid perform rituals during the festival in Kuala is a Hindu religious festival in Malaysia and celebrated by the Indians particularly by the Tamil community. More than 100,000 Hinduism devotees from inside and outside the country visited Batu Caves to commemorates the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a spear known as vel to defeat an evil demon named Soorapadman. Usually the Hindu devotees will perform Kavadi Attam or known as Burden Dance on pilgrimage as a ceremonial sacrificed to worship Lord Murugan.
