On a line at right angles withthese transformers and with the station switchboard aretwo rotary converters of the General Electric type, 4-75-1800, and of a capacity on the direct current side of 136amps, at 550 volts. On the three-phase side the voltageis 340, delivered from the step-down transformers. Thespeed of the converters is 1800.
