The subject of brake shoes was then considered and the would be unwilling to agree to anything the committee mightadopt, but he thought the question should be determined bycommittee as a whole rather than by the sub-committee. Hisreason was that in the smaller sizes of trucks made byhis company these dimensions would add some weight tothe trucks. On the other hand, the committee in its ma-jority report had been able to agree on dimensions for thesides and the tops for all four journals. That was a verydesirable thing. In answer to an inquiry as to what the increase wouldamount to Mr. Thorpe said that he could not tell exactly, because it had not been decided whether it would be better. /rfor/va*- - op ^s. -r X £ £B/lii/e-^a/or- & 6S°ft £g/ Ax/<r /i P af/*7or-l-L it -n- *»v .^To/rj cesser h c<rnfc*~ of •^bcj^^tp/sIgflr/ /esj^fc Or era// 4U fC/lx/e - Aof/fetor-Zoo /» /So\ !. £C/*x/e - /I e ef/Voter - /SO /o 2oa Si IT1L SB -76 ,. fP/txik /tfiefAtoAir ?oo/b2£o.
