Cha-put, Fils & Cie, Limitee, wholesale gro-cers of Montreal, was the guest of honorat a recent banquet given by his direct-ors and employees, to celebrate his 77thbirthday and also his 61 years in bus-iness. The function was held in the packing room, gaily decorated withflags, had been transformed for the oc-casion and was large enough to accom-modate 200 people, the whole staff.
