Cadet 3/c Emma Hupp, from Crestwood, Kentucky, and Cadet 3/c Lauren Oakes from Alpharetta, Georgia, make baggywrinkle aboard USCGC Eagle (WIX 327) in the Atlantic Ocean, June 29, 2021. Baggywrinkle is used to protect the sails from excessive chafing on lines. Eagle is currently conducting summer cadet training in at-sea leadership and professional development, first visiting Portugal, then Iceland, followed by Bermuda.
