Syracuse Beach, fifteen miles from Ogden, is reached by the Utah CentralBranch of the Union Pacific. Here the tourist will find an excellent strand. Syracuse Beach isbeginning to be recognized as a charming summer resort for families whodesire to spend the heated term by the sea-side. OGDEN CANON. Ogden Cafion, one of Utahs chief scenic attractions, is reached by a half-hours drive over a good road from Ogden. The Ogden River, which coursesbetween its walls, is a famous trout stream. The sides of this canon are veryprecipitous and picturesque, rivaling the American Fork in the variety andcharacter of their striking features. At the head of the canon is an elevatedpark, called Ogden Park, and beyond this the drive may be extended to Cacheand Bear Lake Valleys. UTAH HOT SPRINGS.
