It is found in Washing-ton County, Mississippi, on the road from theMississippi River, opposite Point Chicot to Will-iams Bayou. The principal mound, A, is 420 by 390 feet squareat its base, 55 feet high, andhas a level area at its sum-mit 120 feet long by 100feet broad. A graded road-way, 30 feet wide, leads toits top from the east. At itsbase to the northeastward isa platformor raised area, B, 10 feet high and 75 feetwide, with a small mound, C, on the right, 120 by 90feet at the base, with which^it is connected by a terrace4 feet high and 25 feet the top of the greatmound. A, is an excavation30 feet long, 25 broad, and 6deep. A number of smallerrectangular mounds, withgraded ascents, form, in con-junction with that just de-scribed, and are of nearlyequal size to the left, a rect-angular inclosure, withinwhich are a few conicalmounds.
