The Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter is home to a mixed bag of luxury cruisers, belonging to members of the Hong Kong Yacht Club, and rickety wooden junks and sampans, belonging to a sizeable community of tankas or boatpeople, with homely touches such as flowerboxes. Sampan owners, keen for business, charge HK$ 100 for a harbour tour, which may be extended into the adjoining waters of Victoria Harbour.
