Springing upon either hand andframing him with theirleaves are floweringgrasses, while abovethe little fellow aresuspended the em-blems of his craft,guarded over bybirds. It is pleasantto picture in onesmind all the appoint-ments of a room inwhich such curtains as these would be hung, for unless it was one equally rich in its details, any-thing so elaborate as these hangings would be out of place.
